For growing companies

Understand how the business is performing, and what deserves attention.

Lytically connects the systems you already use and keeps the definitions that explain the numbers.

Illustrative answerWhy did revenue fall?
  1. Evidence

Traffic, paid clicks, and deal volume held. Reported revenue fell from $184k to $112k.

  2. Context

Revenue is counted when the invoice is issued. A $68k renewal was invoiced on Monday instead of Friday.

  3. Reading

Most of the gap is timing. Recount the weeks before changing acquisition spend.

Sample figures. The full walkthrough is below.

The gap

Each system holds a different part of the week.

A company can have an accurate view of traffic, an accurate view of ad spend, and an accurate view of the pipeline, and still lack an account of why the business result changed.

The definition of a qualified opportunity, the rule for when revenue is counted, and the reason a campaign was paused usually live somewhere else: a document, a note, or someone who was in the meeting.

  • Google Analytics

Sessions, landing pages, and on-site behavior

  • Google Ads

Spend, campaigns, and the queries ads matched

  • Google Search Console

    Organic queries, clicks, and pages

  • HubSpot

    Pipeline, deals, and reported revenue

  • Often somewhere else

Qualification rules, revenue timing, goals, and the decision that explains last week’s change.

Reported revenue can move while traffic, search, and deal volume stay steady. The reason may sit in an invoicing rule or a decision that never entered the CRM. The investigation below follows one question across those pieces.

AI interpretation

Most of the fall is timing, not weaker demand.

Supported reading
Traffic, search, paid acquisition, opportunities and won-deal volume held. The delayed $68k renewal accounts for most of the $72k gap.
Why it matters
Cutting acquisition spend would answer the wrong problem if the movement is mainly reporting timing.
Next check
Recount both weeks with the renewal in its intended period before changing spend.
Limit
This does not rule out a smaller change in deal mix.

Evidence ≠ context ≠ inference

The offering

One place for the systems, the definitions, and the investigation.

An investigation needs the measurements, the context that explains them, and a way to use both. The Lytically Platform is the software that holds those together.

  1. Connected systems

Analytics, advertising, search, and CRM already hold part of the answer. Lytically uses the analytical capabilities those systems expose, such as traffic sources, search terms, and deal performance.

  2. Maintained context

Goals, qualification rules, revenue timing, and the reason for a recent decision stay on record, with a source, so they can be reviewed and corrected.

  3. Analytical capabilities

A compatible AI tool can call those capabilities and the context that applies. The revenue example above keeps measured evidence, supplied context, and the AI reading separate.

The Lytically Platform

Self-managed customers and managed customers use this same software. Compatible AI tools investigate from it.

Self-managed

Run the Platform yourself

A complete way to use the software. You choose the systems, record the context, and investigate from the AI tool you already use.

  • Systems. Connect the ones you want Lytically to reach.
  • Context. Record the goals, definitions, and rules the numbers depend on.
  • Investigation. Ask from ChatGPT, Claude, or another compatible tool.
  • Routines. Add one when a question should be checked on a schedule.

Managed Lytically

Have Lytically set it up and keep it current

An ongoing service, priced separately. Lytically helps with setup and stays involved as systems and definitions change. You still decide which goals, definitions, and sources are authoritative.

  • Systems. Connect and configure the systems that belong in an investigation. Custom connection work is agreed when a standard connection is not enough.
  • Context. Establish how the company defines revenue, qualification, and the decisions that explain a change. Unsettled definitions stay visible.
  • Upkeep. Review and update that context as decisions change, and correct it when the company has moved on.
  • Operation. Help keep integrations and analytical capabilities working as the connected systems change.
  • Use. Support ongoing investigation on the Platform, including Routine design where the engagement includes it.

Explore the Lytically Platform for the connections, the analytical tools, and how compatible AI tools reach them.

Routines

The same investigation, on a schedule.

Give Lytically a recurring analytical instruction. Each run looks at current evidence in the context of how the company operates. That is a fresh investigation, not a scheduled dashboard export.

Platform add-on · priced separately

An illustrative recurring investigation starts from an instruction, reviews fresh evidence and business context, then produces a finding.

Example instruction

Every Monday

Investigate last week’s business performance and tell me what deserves attention.

Optional Platform add-on

Recurring investigation without reopening the question yourself.

  1. 01Every Monday

    The instruction runs on schedule.

  2. 02Investigate again

Lytically checks the relevant connected systems.

  3. 03Read a fresh finding

The report is saved on the Routine.

Investigating from ChatGPT or Claude does not require Routines. Routines are for questions you want checked again without starting them yourself. A run uses the connected systems already available on the Platform. Routines are not included in Starter, Growth, or Business.

The operating work

An alternative to assembling an analytics function.

Companies usually answer these questions by hiring analytical help, connecting systems, agreeing definitions, and often standing up another place to store the data. You can keep the databases, vendor tools, and people you already have.

  1. 01

    Hiring and maintaining analytical expertise

Someone still has to notice what changed and decide whether it matters. Lytically gives the AI tools you already use a shared place to investigate, with the definitions the company has recorded. The judgment about what to do next stays with the business.

  2. 02

    Connecting and maintaining business systems

Supported systems expose a defined set of analytical capabilities. Keeping those connections useful is part of operating Lytically, on your own or with help.

  3. 03

    Keeping metrics and definitions consistent

Definitions drift when they live in a document, a note, or someone’s memory. Lytically can hold the current rule, with a source, and that rule can be corrected when the company changes it. The record remains context to weigh, alongside what the systems measure.

  4. 04

    Operating supporting analytical infrastructure

Investigations run from the connected systems through those capabilities. A warehouse, database, or other vendor tool you already pay for can stay in place.

  5. 05

    Repeatedly investigating business performance

A standing question can be investigated again when the period changes, using current evidence and the context that still applies. That scheduled investigation is available as the Routines add-on.

Questions

Fit, alternatives, and cost.

ChatGPT, Claude, data platforms, a warehouse, and an in-house team can each be the right setup. These answers say where Lytically fits, and where another approach may serve you better.

Can I achieve the same result with just ChatGPT or Claude?

Potentially, yes. It depends on your data, how you plan to use it, the people available to set it up, and how much time you want to spend.

ChatGPT and Claude already connect to many business applications. Not every system has a ready-made connector or MCP server. Some integrations also need extra infrastructure or a specific hosting environment, which makes ongoing automation harder to maintain.

Someone still has to keep business definitions and context consistent across investigations. If you have the technical resources and the time, building your own setup can be the right choice. The free Blueprint Call can help you look at the options, including implementing a solution yourself.

How is Lytically different from Supermetrics or Windsor.ai?

Supermetrics and Windsor.ai are useful platforms for connecting systems and working with the data those systems hold. If you already have the expertise and the resources to manage your analytics, they may be exactly what you need.

Lytically keeps purpose-built analytical capabilities and business context together, so an investigation can use the measurements and the definitions that explain them. Routines repeat that kind of investigation on a schedule. Managed Lytically is available when you want the implementation and the ongoing operation handled with you.

It is built for growing businesses that want reliable answers and practical support with that work.

Do I need to use Managed Lytically?

No. The Lytically Platform is for businesses that prefer to manage their own integrations, business context, and analytical workflows.

Managed Lytically is optional. It is for customers who want help implementing, configuring, and maintaining the setup.

Both approaches use the same Platform. You choose how much of the ongoing work to handle yourself.

Do I need a data warehouse or an existing analytics team?

No, not for every company.

Lytically works with business systems directly, through purpose-built analytical capabilities. You can get started without building a traditional data warehouse. Some reporting requirements still need a warehouse or another store.

If you already have an analytics team or data infrastructure, Lytically can work alongside it. The right approach depends on your systems, the reporting you rely on, and the questions you need answered.

How long does it take to get started?

That depends on the systems you use, how involved your business definitions are, and whether you implement Lytically yourself or with Managed Lytically.

For some businesses, the initial setup is a modest amount of work. Others need additional integration work, or help establishing business context that holds up in an investigation.

The free Blueprint Call is a chance to talk through your requirements and identify a practical starting point.

How much does Lytically cost?

The Lytically Platform is a subscription. Routines, for recurring investigations, are an optional add-on and are not part of the base subscription. Managed Lytically is priced separately, according to the support you need.

What you pay depends on the capabilities and integrations you need, and on how much of the ongoing work you want handled. If Managed Lytically is part of the conversation, that scope is discussed before an approach is recommended.

The Blueprint Call is free. A Blueprint engagement and any implementation work are scoped separately from that call.
